I am an innocent bystander...
So there are these two guys in the row behind me at work...and they are ALWAYS arguing. And I've thought about it for awhile, cuz it could've been debating...no man, debating is different. They are definitely arguing. One guy is an older guy, who's like 50 or 60 years old, and been working for 20 years or so...and the other guy is younger, maybe my age or a few years older, probably been working 5 or 6 years or so...so just imagine the difference of opinions they must have. It was funny at first, just to hear it, because these guys don't believe in volume, nor do they care that they're in the middle of the office and everyone in the rows next to them can hear everything. But lately, it's started to get a little annoying. I don't even know what they're arguing about right now, but their sheer volume is enough to be quite a distraction. So I am putting on my headphones and listening to my itunes...but oftentimes, my work tasks don't allow me the luxury to listen to music. One of the guys in my department is even closer to them, and I don't know how it doesn't bug him...I asked him during yesterday's argument, and he said he just works through it...I wish I had that fortitude...
My tax refund just came in! Woohoo!!! A whopping $96, he he he, but hey, I'm not complaining...I know I didn't have to pay like some of my friends did. So with that refund, I actually only spent $13.02 on my groceries earlier this week! That rocks! I have a bunch of out of town activities planned over the next few weeks, all the way up until the end of May...after that, I really really REALLY have to try to not go on weekend trips cuzI have to save for Hawaii, and then possibly NYC later in the year...I hate money...I hate that it controls everything...well, not EVERYTHING, but most things that we do, and I hate that it stresses us out. There really are worse things we could be bogged down with...blech.
Lookin forward to the weekend. Goin to SB w/ Cic and Mina and Danny, they're visiting from Vegas. We're supposed to go hiking and all that stuff, but it might rain...I hope it doesn't though, cuz that'll kinda suck. I know we'll figure out something else to do, but I kinda wanted to see the waterfalls...well I guess we can hike in the rain if we wanna see it that badly right? Anyway, I really want to go back to SB to eat at this one Argentinian restaurant that I really really like over there...Cafe Buenos Aires. That place has the most awesome salad...mmmmm, can't wait can't wait.
Another awesome thing about this weekend is that...it's the start of the NBA Playoffs baby!!!! WOOOHOOOO! Lakers-Suns, Clips-Nuggets, and so much more! I love the NBA playoffs, esp since the Lakers are in it this year! I really think the Lakers have a great chance to beat those Suns...just slow down the game and pound it inside. And to top it all off, I'm going to games 3 and 4!!! HELL YEAH!!!
